Portmore United Church School has an average attendance of fifty-five children. The are Kindergarten 3-5+ years, Primary 6-8+years, Junior 9-12 years and Youth which is over 14years.

Some of hte classes have two teachers. Some teachers work on first and second Sundays while other work on third and fourth Sundays.

The Church School participates in all the Council's events such as Children's Rally, Sports and Fellowship Day and Quiz . Throughout the years children have been sucessful in the Quiz, earning first to fourth place in all the grades.

Vacation Bible School is held annually in the month of August. Children from our Church School and also others from the community attend. The activities include Bible study, Art and Drama. The level of participation is usually high.

Church School participates in some of the activities in church such as Mother's Day and Father's Day and Carol Services.

November is always celebrate as Churches School Month and on the 3rd. Sunday , a special serivice is held. Children who have been successful in our local quiz are presented with certificate in pass, credit pr distinction. There is a special Teachers Trophy which is presented to the most outstanding boy and girl of the year. Prizes are also awarded for attendance, participation, punctuality and discipline.
