Looking back to 1978 when the then Women's Guild (name changed in 1992) started at the Portmore United Church with twelve women, at year 2002 and hasd blossomed tremendously to 30 members in 2003..

Meetings are held on first and third Mondays. The fellowship's meeting are designed to cater to the spiritual, social and the church. The programmes include Bible Study, hand crafts, donations of cash and kind to members in the community, recreational activities, debates, visitations to shut-ins and Pringle Home (orphanage), sponsership to assist with summer camps fees.
