Committee - Evangelism & Church Growth - Elder Dwight Kelly
Obectives:
The committee exist to plan and implement activities that win people for the Kingdom of God and provide them with a spiritual foundation as they begin their journey, thereby increasing the membership of the congregation. The committee's role also includes working to ensure that each member is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skill to enable to confidently share the Gospel with others.

Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the evangelistic ministries
of the congregation at both the personal and community levels. It portfolio includes, among other things,
regular evangelistic efforts, e.g. crusades, contact with first time visitors, nurturing of new converts. The committee may also initiate programmes that accord with its overall mandate.

EVANGELISM: This Committee is the focus of the church especially in an age when the world needs Christ more than ever before. The church has been strengthened over its twenty-five years of existence through renewal, growth and outreach. Prayer and fasting has been a vital part of our walk with God because it has given us the strength, courage and tolerance to go out and witness to the unsaved. The churcWs membership has grown over the years and this is achieved through the many crusades, open-air meetings and renewal and revival services that have been organized. We recognize that training is necessary for the committee to function and serve more effectively, so members attended an Evangelism exposition Clinic recently. The committee encourages the church to testify of our salvation and it is indeed the last commission of our Lord Jesus Himself "'But ye all shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be wit- nesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth".
As we plan for the future we know that God is in our midst and the church will move through His direction and under His guidance.
