PROPERTY & COMMITTEE:

Our mission is to maintain the buildings and surrounding areas; ensure the proper use and security of all church property, while providing for the comfort, protection and safety of the congregation.
The official opening and dedication of the Portmore United Church Hall was held in June 1977.
During the twenty-five years of ministry Finance , the members laboured hard to erect a sanctuary which included a baptismal pool. The opening and dedication took place in April 1984. The committee ensured that the resident Minister was well taken care of by pur- chasing a car for his use.
As the membership grew the Minister's work increased, therefore an office was built, equipped with computer, copier and air-conditioning unit, to accommodate both Minister and Secretary.
The property next-door, at Spring Crescent, was bought for social outreach purposes. The committee hopes that in the near future, the church will be provided with a library
and adequate parking facility for members and visitors.
